I det grønne er både tittel på utstillingen min i Kunstforeningen Verdens Ende 2024, og på en serie vevde tekstiler i lin.
Fargene i hver enkelt tekstil er blandet fram av gule og cyanblå tråder, en valør av hver. Ved å variere mengdene av de to fargene gjennom smale striper, oppstår ulike grønne valører som beveger seg gjennom flaten.
De tre store tekstilene er vevet i paneler med 12 cm bredde, og spent opp i avstand fra bakveggen.

På utstillingen viste jeg i også en serie små tekstiler, vevet av de samme fargene, men med et annet fargeblandingsprinsipp.
I tillegg ble en versjon av within white vist, samt filmen Sorting it Out på monitor utenfor rommets inngang.

I Kunstforeningene Verdens Ende ble rommet fylt av grønt lys, og gjennom vindusveggen forbant rommet seg med den grønne hagen.

I det grønne is both the title of my exhibition in Kunstforeningen Verdens Ende 2024, and of a series of woven linen textiles.
The colors in each textile are mixed from yellow and cyan blue threads, one value of each. By varying the amounts of the two colors through narrow stripes, different green values are created that move through the surface.
The three large textiles are woven in panels, 12 cm wide, and stretched at a distance from the back wall.

At the exhibition I also showed a series of small textiles, woven from the same colors but with a different color mixing principle.
A version of within white was also shown in the exhibition, as well as the film Sorting it Out on a monitor outside the room’s entrance.

In Kunstforeningene Verdens Ende, the room was filled with green light, and connected with the green garden through the window wall.
